It is hard to find an exhaust system which is quiet and also making good power for the AE86 so we went ahead to develop.
Our exhaust is designed to run under axle (header back exhaust), this increases exhaust flow, however, freer flow will cause more noise so we added a long resonator and a big muffler to tone it down.
63mm (2.5") pipe (full stainless) is used with our exhaust while most exhaust on the market is 50-60mm range. We made new exhaust hanger mounts to run newer style exhaust bushing. All exhaust mount will be made with stainless steel. T1R reinforced exhaust bushing will be equipped, we will also supply M10 titanium bolts to replace all factory steel mount bolts. You will possibly never need to replace it again.
Our test car has the 20V 4AG with bolts on parts, there 0 drone at normal driving rpm ranges or at highway cruising speed.
