To commemorate the 75th birthday of its founder, Tatsuru Ichishima, SPOON SPORTS will release a bobblehead doll, "Bobblin' ICHI Mini Edition," modeled after Itsuki Ichishima. The doll recreates Ichishima wearing a SPOON SPORTS racing suit and holding his beloved Arai helmet under his arm. The model is based on Tatsuru Ichishima around 70 years old, when he retired from SPOON SPORTS around 2021. The doll captures his appearance during the time he competed in the Thunderhill 25-hour race, expressing his presence as a racing driver and the aura of a person who has built SPOON's history through the unique expression of a bobblehead.
The chest features the SPOON SPORTS logo, as well as the familiar TYPE ONE and Rigid Collar logos. Details have also been added to the back and the base at the feet, resulting in a finish that can be enjoyed from various angles. The packaging uses a blister pack and a full-color box, making it a collectible item that can be enjoyed even when displayed in the package. The box measures 13cm wide, 24cm high, and 11cm deep, and weighs approximately 950g, giving it a substantial feel. This collector's item will allow you to feel closer to the history of SPOON SPORTS and the challenging spirit of Tatsuru Ichishima in your garage or on your desk. This product will be announced on July 15th and will be available for pre-sale on July 18th at the "A&J Racing Collection 2026" event hosted by A&J Racing, the official distributor in Canada.
